Dr. Nirmala Chandrashekar has over 18 years of rich and diverse experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Gynaecologic Oncology. She previously served as a Senior Consultant at Gleneagles BGS Hospital, Uttarahalli where she gained extensive experience in managing complex OBG cases, including high-risk pregnancies, gynecologic and advanced Laparoscopic surgeries. She has also held academic roles including Associate Professor in the Department of OBG at Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital, where she contributed to both clinical services and postgraduate training. Additionally, she completed her Fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, Ahmedabad, further strengthening her expertise in cancer care for women. WORK EXPERIENCE: Dr. Nirmala Chandrashekar brings over 18 years of dedicated experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Gynaecologic Oncology. She began her academic journey as a Lecturer at St. John's Medical College and went on to complete a Fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, where she gained hands-on experience in managing gynecological cancers. She later served as Associate Professor in the Department of OBG at Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital, where she was actively involved in clinical care, teaching, and postgraduate training. Following her academic roles, she worked as a Senior Consultant at Gleneagles BGS Hospital, Bangalore for 8 years, where she managed a wide range of complex obstetric and gynecological cases, including high-risk pregnancies and advanced laparoscopic procedures.
