Dr. Parveen Rani

Dr. Parveen Rani is a dedicated Ophthalmologist with expertise in comprehensive eye care, paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology. She completed her MBBS from Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC&H), Ludhiana, followed by MS in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Government Medical College, Amritsar. She further pursued a prestigious three-year Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-Ophthalmology at the renowned LV Prasad Eye Institute, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Parveen has previously served as a Specialist Ophthalmologist under Punjab Civil Medical Services in Sangrur and Jagraon and also completed her Senior Residency in Ophthalmology. She has independently performed over 400 adult cataract surgeries, 100 paediatric cataract surgeries, and 70 complex strabismus surgeries, while assisting in more than 300 advanced ophthalmic procedures, including optic nerve sheath fenestration and loop myopexy. Her research interests include Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and outcomes of complex strabismus surgeries.
