Dr. Prashant M. Mullerpatan

With over 20 years of experience in comprehensive cancer surgery, Dr. Prashant Mullerpatan serves as a Surgical Oncologist at S. L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mumbai. His expertise includes the surgical management of Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, Head and Neck (Oral), Gynaecological, and Breast cancers. He completed his Master of Surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital and subsequently underwent residency training in Surgical Oncology at the same institution. He further pursued a fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary cancer surgery at Lilavati Hospital, followed by advanced training at the University Hospital, Nagoya, Japan. His international experience also includes work at major hospitals in the United Kingdom in the field of GI and breast oncology, where he earned membership with the General Medical Council (GMC). Since returning to India in 2007, he has practiced as an independent consultant, providing evidence-based, holistic cancer care with a patient-centric approach while remaining committed to ongoing research and clinical excellence.
