Dr. Preeth Shetty is an paediatrician and neonatologist Specialist at Fortis Hospital, Nagarbhavi in Bangalore and has an experience of 24 years in this Field. Dr Preeth Shetty completed his undergraduate studies at Kasturba medical college, Mangalore in 1999 and completed his post graduation, doctorate in paediatric medicine from prestigious Kasturba medical college, Manipal in 2002. He has been consultant paediatrician and neonatologist at fortis hospital from the inception of the hospital in 2008. He has post graduate diploma in paediatric nutrition from Boston University, has completed Post graduate paediatric nutrition course-cognitive and brain development in early years of life from The John Hopkins University. He has special interest in paediatric nutrition,paediatric respiratory diseases, infectious diseases, adolescent psychiatry, vaccinology.

He is a certified Early Nutrition specialist from Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich. He is involved in various research projects in paediatric nutrition from ICMR and also has publications in renowned paediatric journals on various topics on nutrition and pneumococcal immunisation and control of infections of respiratory tract.
