Dr. Rakesh Padmakar Dhake

With over 9 years of specialized experience in spinal surgery, Dr. Rakesh Dhake serves as a Consultant Spine Surgeon at S. L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He completed his MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, followed by an MS in Orthopaedics from LTMG Hospital (Sion), Mumbai. To further enhance his expertise, he underwent advanced fellowship training in Hungary, Portugal, and the United States. He was a part of the Indo-American Spine Alliance (IASA) fellowship and subsequently completed the Nottingham Advanced Spinal Surgery Fellowship at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK, where he also served as a Consultant Spine Surgeon. His international clinical experience includes work at Queen’s Medical Centre and Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in the UK. Dr. Dhake was awarded the Senior Clinical Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and received the Global Outreach Program (GOP) Educational Scholarship from the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS). He specializes in the diagnosis and management of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders, including both open and minimally invasive surgical procedures, and returned to India with the objective of providing advanced spinal care based on global best practices.
