Dr. Sanjay B S

Dr. Sanjay B S has completed his MBBS from Karnataka Medical College, Hubli, Karnataka in1994. He went to do his MS (General Surgery) from Bangalore Medical College. He did his M.Ch (Cardiothoracic Surgery) in the year 2002 from Grant Medical College Mumbai and MRCS (Part I Intercollegiate) in 2004. After completing training in cardiac surgery from the prestigious Grant medical college in Mumbai, he started as a registrar in Cardiac Surgery at Sagar Hospital Bangalore. Then went for further specialty training in UK and worked at the Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, and Harefield Hospitals in the UK. He returned back to India and worked as a Consultant in Fortis hospitals and Sagar Hospitals in Bangalore. He was instrumental in setting up cardiac surgical units at Sagar hospital and Baptist hospital Bangalore. He has worked in the inhospitable conditions in Iraq to help deliver quality healthcare to the war-torn country. Major interests include Adult Cardiac surgery, Aortic Surgeries and heat failure therapies.
