Dr. Sanjay Sharma

Dr. Sanjay Sharma is a Senior Surgical Oncologist with over 40 years of experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of various cancers. He has extensive expertise in gastrointestinal and thoracic oncology, with a special interest in the treatment of esophageal cancer. Throughout his career, Dr. Sanjay Sharma has been involved in the management of complex oncological cases using evidence-based surgical approaches. He is currently associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai, where he provides comprehensive cancer care with a multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Sanjay Sharma completed his oncology training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he served as both a resident and surgeon for over two decades. He further enhanced his expertise through the prestigious Nargis Dutt Memorial Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA, receiving specialized training in thoracic oncology and critical care. In recognition of his academic excellence, he was awarded Gold Medals during both his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) programs at Bhopal Medical College.
