Bringing over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Satish Rao serves as a Surgical Oncologist at S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mumbai. His practice focuses on Head, Neck, and Breast oncology surgeries, with expertise in comprehensive cancer care using advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Rao received his foundational training in Surgical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and further advanced his expertise through specialized training in Head and Neck Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He also completed training in Endoscopic Laser Surgery for Head and Neck cancers at the University of Kiel and the University of Goettingen, Germany. He follows a patient-centric approach and works in multidisciplinary collaboration with radiation and medical oncologists to develop individualized treatment plans for optimal outcomes, combining compassionate care with technical precision.
