Dr. Siddarth Lakhani

Bringing over 13 years of clinical experience in nephrology, Dr. Siddharth Vinod Lakhani is a Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at S. L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He specializes in the management of acute and chronic kidney diseases, dialysis, and renal transplant care. Dr. Lakhani earned his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) from Grant Medical College and Sir J. J. Hospital, Mumbai, securing first rank in his postgraduate program. He subsequently completed his DM and DNB in Nephrology from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Over the course of his practice, he has managed more than 2,000 patients with chronic kidney disease and has extensive experience in renal transplantation. His areas of expertise include hypertensive and diabetic kidney diseases, acute kidney injury, and glomerular disorders. He also performs dialysis catheter insertions (temporary and tunneled), renal biopsies, and peritoneal dialysis catheter placements. Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he is actively involved in academic research and has participated in several national and international clinical trials.
