Dr. Swarnendu Samanta

Dr. Swarnendu Samanta is an orthopaedic surgeon for the past 20 years. He specializes in sports injuries and arthroscopy, apart from management of pelviacetabular fractures and joint reconstructive procedures. He graduated from NRS medical college in 1987 and did post-graduation in specialty of Orthopaedics from SCB Medical College Cuttack in 1993. He has completed numerous fellowships, notably, Fellowship in Sports medicine and Arthroscopy at Kerlan&JobeOrthopaedic Centre—Los Angeles, USA, Shoulder Arthroscopy Fellowship at San Antonio Orthopedic Group-Texas, USA under Dr. Stephen S. Burkhart. He is an active member of various orthopaedic associations; he has been a faculty at various training courses across the country and abroad. Over the years he has also been entrusted with various organizational posts at national and international conferences.
