Dr. Tofiq Bohra

Bringing over 10 years of clinical experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Tofiq Bohra is an Indian Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He completed his residency in TMJ Arthroscopy and Total Joint Replacement Surgery at the University of Maryland, USA. His areas of expertise include the management of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders, cleft and craniofacial surgery, orthognathic jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, and oral cancer surgery with reconstruction. Dr. Bohra has performed more than 1,000 surgeries across these specialties. As one of the early adopters of minimally invasive TMJ arthroscopy in India, he focuses on advanced surgical management of complex maxillofacial conditions, with a particular interest in cleft and craniofacial plastic surgery. His clinical practice also includes facial reanimation surgery for Bell’s palsy and dental and craniofacial implants. In recognition of his contributions to the specialty, he was nominated by CIOLOOK Magazine India as one of the “Top Surgeons to Look Out for in 2023.”
