Dr. Trimaan Singh Sikand

Dr Trimaan Singh Sikand is a Gold Medalist Interventional Neurologist with over 12 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and neurovascular disorders. He specializes in advanced minimally invasive neuro-interventional procedures for stroke, aneurysms, vascular malformations, and other complex brain and spinal vascular conditions. He completed his MBBS from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and subsequently pursued advanced training in Neurology (DM), Interventional Neurology (FINR), and Neuro Intervention through a Post-Doctoral Fellowship. He has also received specialized training through FICR (EULAR, Germany) and CPCR Rheumatology. Prior to joining Fortis Hospital Jalandhar, he served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences. Dr. Sikand is highly experienced in the emergency management of acute stroke and performs life-saving procedures such as Mechanical Thrombectomy and Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis. His expertise includes Cerebral and Spinal Angiography, Carotid, Vertebral and Intracranial Stenting, Aneurysm Coiling, Flow Diverter Placement, and Endovascular Treatment of AVMs and Dural Arteriovenous Fistulas (DAVFs). He also performs advanced procedures including Venous Sinus Stenting for Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), Middle Meningeal Artery (MMA) Embolization for Chronic Subdural Hematoma (SDH), Fluoroscopic-Guided Nerve and Epidural Injections, Botulinum Toxin Therapy for Neurological Disorders, and Headache-related Nerve Blocks.
