Dr. Tushar D. Rege

Bringing over 35 years of clinical experience, Dr. Tushar D. Rege is a General Surgeon and Diabetic Foot Surgeon associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He completed his MBBS in 1983 and MS in General Surgery in 1988 from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, followed by a Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) in 2013. Dr. Rege serves as the President of the Indian Podiatry Association (IPA) – Maharashtra Chapter and Secretary of the Dadar Medical Association. He has extensive experience in managing complex diabetic foot complications, including ulcers, Charcot neuroarthropathy, and deformities. He currently serves as the Diabetic Foot Surgeon to the Governor of Maharashtra and is affiliated with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Medical Council of India (MCI), and Maharashtra Medical Council. His clinical practice focuses on limb preservation, wound healing, and surgical correction in diabetic patients to prevent amputations and improve functional outcomes.
