Dr. Vandana Shetty

Associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, since 2009, Dr. Vandana Shetty is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 21 years of professional experience. She provides comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care, with expertise in managing complex and high-risk pregnancies as well as gynaecological emergencies. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Shetty has made notable academic contributions. In 2004, she received the MOGS and Johnson & Johnson Medical Ethicon Fellowship Best Paper Award for her thesis titled *“Transcervical Infection and Its Effect on Preterm Labour and Neonatal Morbidity & Mortality.”* She has authored a chapter on *“Transcervical Methods of Tubal Sterilization”* and co-authored a chapter on *“Puberty and Adolescence: Physiological Changes and Abnormalities”* in a widely used gynaecology textbook. Dr. Shetty is also a life member of the M.O.G.S. (Mumbai Obstetric and Gynaecological Society) and the Association of Medical Consultants (AMC), Mumbai.
