Dr. Varun Bhatia is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist with over seven years of expertise in transcatheter valve therapies and structural heart interventions. He has received advanced international training in structural heart procedures and minimally invasive cardiovascular treatments, enabling him to deliver precise and effective care in complex cardiac cases. His clinical expertise includes complex coronary interventions, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), MitraClip therapy, Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement (TMVR), ASD/PFO device closure, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC). He is also highly proficient in performing primary PCI for STEMI, ensuring timely and life-saving treatment during acute cardiac emergencies. Dr. Bhatia has undergone extensive training at reputed national and international institutions, including Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai; Government Medical College, Surat; and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai. He has further enhanced his skills through advanced fellowships and training in Hungary, France, and the USA, specializing in transcatheter valve interventions and structural heart therapies.
