Dr. Vimalathithan completed his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College and pursued his M.S. in General Surgery from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He received specialized training in Surgical Oncology from the prestigious Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru, and also earned his Surgical Oncology qualification from the Diplomate of National Board (DNB).
He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh, and has completed a Clinical Observership at the Nebraska Cancer Center, Omaha, USA. In addition, he has completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery.
