Dr. Vivek Gundappa

Dr. Vivek Gundappa brings over a decade of rich clinical experience in Pulmonary Medicine, Interventional Pulmonology, Respiratory Critical Care, and Lung Transplantation. He currently serves as the Clinical Head – Interventional Pulmonology at Fortis Hospital, Yeshwanthpur, where he leads the department of advanced pulmonary and bronchoscopic services. Prior to joining Fortis, he worked as a Consultant Interventional Pulmonologist with leading multispecialty hospital networks in Bengaluru and held academic and administrative leadership roles at a tertiary care teaching institution, serving as Deputy Medical Superintendent and Joint Registrar. Throughout his career, Dr. Vivek has been actively involved in clinical research, medical education and the introduction of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary interventions, making him one of the few specialists in the region with expertise in cutting-edge interventional respiratory care.
