Ms. Anchal Sharma and Team

Anchal Sharma is a Counselling Psychologist with the Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences, Fortis Healthcare. She has completed her Bachelor's and Master’s in Psychology from Jamia Milia Islamia University and DAV College, Punjab University respectively. She works extensively with children and adults, in the field of psychotherapy and psycho -social care. She also provides Marital Therapy for relationship issues. As a part of her work, she provides counseling services to both in patients and out patients on various psychological issues like Depression, Anxiety, Grief , interpersonal relationships to name a few. She has been actively conducting workshops in various schools with parents, students and teachers and Corporates on life skills and mental health related issues. She facilitate Employee Assistance Programs and handle critical incident Counseling. In the past, she has worked as a Psychologist with Swashrit Society, Educating Children for a better tomorrow (NGO). She collaborated in a Project with Sesame Workshop India Trust on Child Protection which focuses on engaging children in activities which would infer their mental health state and family dynamics. She has written a proposal for AYUSH Project for Ministry of Health Affairs on Impact of Yoga Practices on Attention and Concentration Ability in School students in Contemporary times. She has been Former President for Wellness & Well-Being Council, WICCI, Chd. She has been awarded "Young Leaders Creating a Better World for All" Award at WICCI conference, Chandigarh. She has also been awarded "Exceptional Women of Excellence" at Women Economic Forum 2022, New Delhi. She has been awarded " Exceptional Contribution in the Health Sector" at WICCI Health Conclave 2022.
