Governance and Oversight

Fortis Healthcare Research Foundation has established a Research Advisory Committee comprising experts from both internal and external domains. The committee is responsible for providing strategic guidance and technical support to Fortis-associated research units across the Fortis network. Its primary objectives include:

• Supporting new research initiatives by identifying priority areas, further encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Facilitating the planning and execution of academic research projects under the Fortis Network model ensuring alignment with its objectives. 

• Guiding educational and training activities, including faculty development programs and research methodology workshops. 

• Overseeing the institutional publication strategy.

The details of the committee members are as follows:

Committee Composition: 40% External Members | 60% Internal Experts. In case of any change in membership, the committee composition shall continue to maintain the same ratio, and new members will be inducted in the respective category.
