Dr. Amit Bhambri

ith over 15 years of experience in advanced laparoscopic, robotic, bariatric, and metabolic surgery. He is recognized as India's first bariatric and metabolic surgeon certified by AIIMS, New Delhi, and specializes in the surgical management of obesity, type 2 diabetes, complex hernias, gallbladder disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and other minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Bhambri has received advanced international training at Homerton University Hospital, London, and St. Mark's Hospital, Harrow (UK). He has mentored over 100 surgeons from more than 16 countries in bariatric surgery and has achieved several milestones, including performing bariatric surgery on one of Punjab's heaviest patients. A Gold Medalist in MS General Surgery, he is known for delivering safe, evidence-based surgical care with a strong focus on faster recovery and improved patient outcomes.
