Dr Arun K. Sharma has more than 10 years of experience in Advance Laparoscopy & Gastro-Intestinal Surgery. After doing MBBS from Jammu, he did his Master's degree (MS) from SKIMS, Kashmir. He then joined the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and did M.Ch in Minimal Access Surgery followed by Fellowship in Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery while spending more than 6 years at the AIIMS New Delhi. Additionally, he holds an IAGES fellowship in Surgical Oncology. Other than routine General surgeries like Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy and surgeries for Hemorrhoids, Perianal Fistula and Pilonidal Sinus, he is well trained in performing advanced laparoendoscopic surgeries like Endoscopic Thyroid Surgery (Scarless Neck Surgery), Laparoscopic Hernia Repair (IPOM, TEP, TAPP, eTEP), Fundoplication, Hiatus Hernia Repair, Complex Hepatobiliary, GI and Breast Oncosurgery.
