Dr. Arvinder Singh Chilana is a renowned Director – General & Laparoscopic Surgery at Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh, with over 35 years of experience in General, Gastrointestinal, Laser Proctology and Minimal Access Surgery. Recognized as one of North Delhi's leading laparoscopic surgeons, he has extensive expertise in advanced minimally invasive procedures, delivering excellent clinical outcomes with faster recovery, minimal pain, and shorter hospital stays. Dr. Chilana completed his MBBS (1978) and MS in General Surgery (1983) from LLRM Medical College & Hospital, Meerut, followed by a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) in 2006. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served at premier institutions including Safdarjung Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Sunder Lal Jain Hospital, MGS Hospital, Max Hospital Pitampura, and Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, before joining Fortis.
