Dr. K C Gurudev

Dr. K. C. Gurudev is a highly experienced nephrologist with over 35 years of experience in the field of kidney care and renal sciences. He received advanced training under the guidance of the renowned nephrologist Padma Bhushan Dr. M. K. Mani at Apollo Hospital, Chennai. In 1991, Dr. Gurudev pioneered nephrology services in Mysuru and, in 1993, performed the first renal transplantation outside Bengaluru. Throughout his career, he has been associated with more than 500 kidney transplants, contributing significantly to the advancement of nephrology and renal transplantation in Karnataka. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gurudev is actively involved in medical education and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students. He also serves as an examiner for DM and DNB Nephrology programmes, supporting the development of future specialists in kidney care.
