Dr. Kanishka Meel

Dr. Kanishka Meel is a Consultant Psychiatrist with around seven years of experience in psychiatry. She has worked across multiple cities, including Gurugram, Bhiwadi, and Rewari, and has experience in hospital-based practice as well as providing mental healthcare in assisted living facilities for older adults. Since completing her MD Psychiatry in 2022, she has combined clinical practice with extensive mental health advocacy and public education. She has conducted stress management, emotional wellness, and psychological first aid workshops for more than 1,500 employees across leading organizations, including Relaxo, Jaquar, BKT, Perfetti, B. Braun, Hi-Tech Gears, Carlsberg, Hindware, Paramount, Roca, Siegwerk, Bestech, and the Neemrana Hotels Group. She has also conducted school mental health programs, training children, parents, and educators on emotional well-being, while leading mental health awareness initiatives for women, senior citizens, and law enforcement personnel, including the 2024 District-Level Police Officers’ Conference. Dr. Meel regularly delivers webinars for corporate and healthcare audiences and has collaborated as a speaker at programs with departments from Fortis, Max, and Paras group of Hospitals. As an active member of the Indian Red Cross, she has trained hundreds of participants in psychological first aid and was recognized by the District Collector of Alwar for her contributions to community mental health. Her expert opinions have been featured by leading media platforms, including India Today, The Times of India, News18, ABP Live, News9, The HealthSite, Mid-day, and Jagran. She continues to integrate clinical excellence with public engagement, striving to make mental healthcare more accessible and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.
