Dr. M R Merchant

With more than 40 years of experience in nephrology, Dr. M. R. Merchant serves as a Senior Consultant Nephrologist at S. L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He provides specialized care for the diagnosis and management of a wide range of kidney-related disorders. Dr. Merchant completed his MBBS, MD (General Medicine), and DNB from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai. His clinical experience encompasses the treatment of chronic kidney disease, urinary tract infections, and end-stage renal failure. He is also experienced in advanced nephrology procedures and interventions, including kidney biopsies, dialysis, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplant support.
