Dr. Madhavi Jeste

Bringing over 25 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Madhavi Jeste serves as a Senior Ophthalmic Surgeon at S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. She specializes in cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma management. Dr. Jeste completed her MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College in 1985, followed by DOMS from the College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1987 and MS in Ophthalmology from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, in 1989. She further enhanced her surgical expertise through advanced training in Phacoemulsification at the Chicago Eye Institute. Over the course of her career, she has held several academic and clinical appointments, including Registrar at KEM Hospital, Lecturer at BYL Nair Hospital & TN Medical College, and Clinical Assistant at KB Bhabha Municipal Hospital. She actively participates in national ophthalmology conferences and is involved in professional medical associations. Her clinical interests include cataract, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, refractive errors, and uveitis.
