Dr. Neetu Ramrakhiani

Dr. Neetu Ramrakhiani is the Director – Neurology at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, with over 21 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders. She completed her DM in Neurology from the prestigious B.Y.L. Nair Hospital and T.N. Medical College, Mumbai, after obtaining her MBBS and MD (Medicine) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. Her primary areas of expertise include Stroke, Neurocritical Care, Headache Disorders, Epilepsy, and other neurological conditions, with a special focus on acute stroke management. She has been instrumental in establishing and strengthening the Comprehensive Stroke Unit at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, with an emphasis on delivering timely, evidence-based stroke care. Prior to joining Fortis, Dr. Ramrakhiani served for over three years at Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur, where she gained extensive experience in advanced neurological care. An accomplished academician, she has numerous national publications to her credit and has delivered lectures at several Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and national conferences. She has also been an invited faculty member at the Udaipur Course on Stroke and Neurointervention. Dr. Ramrakhiani is actively involved in teaching DNB students and has contributed to physician education as a member of the team selected for the Physician Update Programme under the Association of Physicians of India (API). She has authored an editorial in Neurology India, the official journal of the Neurological Society of India. She also serves as the Principal Investigator for a pilot project under the Fortis Stroke Registry and played a key role in establishing a specialized Headache Clinic, MS Clinic at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur.
