Dr. P. G. Talwalkar

With over three decades of experience in the management of diabetes-related ailments, Dr. Pradeep G. Talwalkar is associated with S. L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. A highly qualified clinician, he previously served as a postgraduate teacher of internal medicine and now teaches diabetology. He is actively engaged in diabetes awareness and patient education through workshops, seminars, and various print, radio, television, and digital media platforms for patients and caregivers. Dr. Talwalkar has authored more than fifty papers in national and international journals and has written and edited several books on diabetes for laypeople, family physicians, and consultants. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, symposiums, and continuing medical education (CME) programs across India, has participated in every International Diabetes Federation conference since 1988, visited several international centers of excellence in diabetology, and serves as the Assistant Editor of the API Textbook of Medicine (Sixth Edition), which is widely read across India.
