Dr. Prafulla Kumar Singh is a highly experienced General, Laparoscopic, Robotic and Laser Surgeon with over 27 years of surgical expertise. He is currently working as Senior Director – General Surgery, Laparoscopic, Robotic & Laser Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. Renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Singh is among the pioneers of laser surgery and has successfully performed 2,000+ laser surgeries and 15,000+ laparoscopic procedures for a wide range of general and gastrointestinal surgical conditions. He completed his M.S. in General Surgery from the University of Allahabad and received advanced training in Laparoscopic Surgery under the guidance of the internationally acclaimed laparoscopic surgeon Dr. C. Palanivelu at GEM Hospital, Coimbatore, in 2003. Before joining Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Dr. Singh was associated with several leading healthcare institutions. He served as Consultant – General & Laparoscopic Surgery at Sunder Lal Jain Hospital and later as Principal Consultant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh.
