Dr Preeti is a Structural and Interventional Cardiologist with specialised expertise in the management of complex heart conditions through advanced, minimally invasive cardiac procedures. Her clinical expertise includes Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), mitral and tricuspid valve interventions, and a range of structural heart procedures. She has performed and assisted in over 300 TAVI procedures, including more than 100 as the first operator, using both self-expanding and balloon-expandable valves. Her experience includes advanced vascular access techniques, transcatheter mitral and tricuspid interventions, atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, paravalvular leak closure, and transcatheter ethanol septal ablation. Her clinical practice also encompasses comprehensive cardiac assessment, multidisciplinary heart team evaluation, procedural planning, post-procedural care and the management of complications. She has experience in the assessment and management of patients with acute cardiovascular conditions. Dr Preeti has contributed to cardiovascular research through publications in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Angiology and the Indian Heart Journal.
