Dr. Rahul is a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist with over 7 years of experience at one of India’s leading cancer centres, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre. He specializes in advanced radiation techniques for the management of complex cancers, delivering precise, personalized, and evidence-based cancer care. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab and MD (Radiotherapy) from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot, Punjab. He has extensive expertise in modern radiation oncology techniques including IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SRS, SRT, SBRT, DIBH, and 3DCRT for the treatment of various cancers. Dr. Rahul is proficient in HDR Brachytherapy including Intracavitary, Intraluminal, Interstitial, and Mould Brachytherapy, with special expertise in treating oesophageal, bronchial, biliary tract, and other complex tumours. He has successfully managed cancers involving different parts of the body and has been involved in introducing innovative radiotherapy approaches such as Lattice Radiotherapy and SBRT-PATHY. His areas of expertise include Advanced External Beam Radiotherapy, Image-Guided Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy, Brachytherapy, Oncologic Emergencies, Palliative Care, and Paediatric Oncology Cases. He is also experienced in Ultrasound/CT-guided FNAC and Biopsy procedures for accurate cancer diagnosis.
