Dr. Rakesh Singh

With more than 17 years of experience in neurology and neurointerventional procedures, Dr. Rakesh K. Singh serves as a Neurointervention Consultant at S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He specializes in stroke management and minimally invasive neurological interventions. Dr. Singh has received advanced neurointervention training in Essen, Germany, and has extensive experience in both elective and emergency neurological procedures, including thrombolysis, stenting, and embolization. He has also played a key role in establishing stroke care units at leading hospitals across Mumbai. His procedural experience includes performing over 150 flow diversion procedures using PED, FRED, and Silk stents. His clinical interests encompass mechanical clot retrieval, aneurysm coiling, embolization of AVMs and tumors, and vertebroplasty. Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Singh has contributed to medical research through more than 80 publications and has served as a co-investigator in clinical drug trials for multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.
