Dr. Ramachandra Chowdappa is a highly experienced Surgical Oncologist with over three decades of clinical, academic and research experience. He holds an M.Ch in Surgical Oncology and an M.S in General Surgery, and has served as Director and Professor of Surgical Oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru. He has played a significant role in advancing cancer care, research, teaching and community oncology initiatives, with special interests in Gastrointestinal Oncology, Breast Cancer, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery. He has also undergone advanced training in colorectal, laparoscopic and robotic surgery in South Korea, Turkey, Germany and France. Dr. Ramachandra has been actively involved in clinical research, publications, postgraduate teaching and professional organisations, and has received several prestigious awards for his contributions to oncology and public service.
