Dr. Samir Garde

With over 23 years of clinical experience in respiratory medicine, Dr. Samir D. Garde is an Interventional Pulmonologist associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He completed his MBBS from T.N. Medical College (Nair Hospital) and earned his MD in Respiratory Diseases and Tuberculosis from Grant Medical College (Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals), Mumbai. His practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of complex pulmonary conditions, with particular expertise in interventional pulmonology and lung transplant management. Dr. Garde has received specialized training in Interventional Pulmonology from institutes in Marseille (France), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Athens/Thessaloniki (Greece), along with advanced training in Lung Transplant from Vienna Medical University. His areas of expertise include diffuse lung diseases, asthma, COPD, MDR/XDR TB, respiratory infections, and the management of respiratory complications related to solid organ and bone marrow transplants.
