Dr. Sanjay Singh

Dr. Sanjay Singh is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He holds qualifications including M.B.B.S., MS (General Surgery), M.Ch. (Surgical Oncology), and a Fellowship in GI & Colorectal Surgery. After completing his medical education and internship at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, he pursued MS in General Surgery at MGM Medical College and M.Y. Hospital, Indore, followed by a Senior Residency at Grant Government Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He later completed his M.Ch. in Surgical Oncology at the Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad. Dr. Singh has specialised expertise in laparoscopic and robotic cancer surgery and received advanced training in colorectal, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, as well as focused training in peritoneal surface malignancies and HIPEC at the Peritoneal Malignancy Institute, North Hampshire Hospitals, NHS, Basingstoke, UK. His clinical practice focuses primarily on gastrointestinal cancers and also includes the management of head and neck, breast, gynaecological, urologic, and thoracic cancers. He has presented research at several international and national conferences, including the British Association of Surgical Oncology Annual Scientific Conference (London, 2023), the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons 125th Annual Scientific Meeting (Baltimore, 2024), the Korean Society of Endo-Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery 54th Congress & 14th International Symposium (Daejeon, 2024), the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland Annual Meeting (Newport, Wales, 2024), the Mid-Term Annual Conference of IASO (Andhra Pradesh, 2020), NATCON IASO (Tamil Nadu, 2022), and various national conferences. He is a member of IASO (Indian Association of Surgical Oncology), ESCP (European Society of Coloproctology), and BASO (British Association of Surgical Oncology).
