Dr. Vikas Chavan is an experienced Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon with over 8 years of clinical experience. He has expertise in managing a wide range of orthopaedic and spinal conditions, with a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, orthopaedic trauma, spine trauma, and hip and knee arthroplasty. Dr. Chavan has extensive experience in the surgical management of simple and complex orthopaedic trauma, degenerative and traumatic spinal conditions, and joint-related disorders. His clinical expertise also includes minimally invasive spine procedures and selective nerve root blocks, with a focus on precision, faster recovery, and improved patient outcomes. Actively involved in academic and research activities, Dr. Chavan has presented papers on minimally invasive tubular decompression for lumbar canal stenosis, oblique lumbar interbody fusion, and the management of infected non-union fractures. His research and publications span orthopaedic trauma, fracture management, spinal surgery, osteoporosis, wound management, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
