Fortis Hospital Amritsar Marks World Cancer Day with Expert-Led Cancer Awareness Talk 

Amritsar, 03 February, 2026: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Amritsar, in association with Ishaan Media House, successfully organised a large-scale Cancer Awareness Health Talk aimed at promoting early detection, prevention, and timely treatment of cancer. The awareness session witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Ishaan Media House Women’s Group, reflecting growing community engagement in proactive healthcare and cancer prevention. 

The awareness programme featured expert talks by leading specialists from Fortis Escorts Hospital Amritsar, including Dr. Anish Bhatia, Consultant, Surgical Oncology, Dr. Hakeem Ansar, Senior Consultant, Oncology and Dr. Ruchika, Consultant Obs & Gynaecology. The session underscored the critical role of early detection and preventive healthcare in improving cancer outcomes. The attendees actively engaged with the experts through interactive discussions, reinforcing the need for regular health check-ups and timely medical consultation.
