Fortis Hospital Mohali to Host Two-Day National Training Programme on Vascular Diseases

Mohali, 31 July, 2026: Aimed at enhancing clinical skills in the diagnosis and advanced treatment of varicose veins, Fortis Hospital Mohali is organizing a two-day national training programme on Vascular Diseases from August 1–2, 2026. Led by renowned expert, Dr Ravul Jindal, Director, Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Fortis Hospital Mohali, alongside international and national specialists, the Programme will train 30 -35 doctors through scientific lectures, hands-on ultrasound workshops, and live-case demonstrations.  

Designed to blend classroom learning with real-time clinical exposure, the workshop aims to enhance doctors' skills through evidence-based training in varicose vein diagnosis and treatment. This practical approach ensures participants can seamlessly integrate advanced techniques into their daily practice. 

Varicose veins are among the most common vascular conditions, yet they are often treated as a cosmetic concern rather than a progressive disease that can advance to chronic pain, skin changes and venous ulcers. Early identification rests on accurate clinical and ultrasound assessment. Through this programme, participating doctors will be better equipped to recognise venous disease at an early stage and deliver timely, evidence-based treatment, improving patient outcomes. 

Renowned vascular specialists including Dr. Erika Mendoza from Germany, Dr. Jayanta Das from Kolkata, and Dr. Muneer Ahmad Para, Consultant, Vascular Surgery, Fortis Hospital Mohali, will share their clinical expertise. Delegates will gain practical experience in evaluating and managing varicose veins through scientific lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on ultrasound workshops, and live-case demonstrations."
