Faridabad, July 02, 2026: Doctors at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad successfully saved the life of a 68-year-old woman diagnosed with critical Triple Vessel Coronary Artery Disease (TVD), a life-threatening condition involving severe blockages in all three major coronary arteries supplying blood to the heart. Initially, the patient and her family were hesitant to proceed with the recommended intervention and 
requested additional time to decide on treatment. However, while under observation in the cath lab 
recovery area, the patient suddenly developed acute heart failure, necessitating immediate intervention. 
Acting swiftly, the interventional cardiology team successfully performed an angioplasty with stent 
implantation in two critically blocked heart arteries and a Balloon angioplasty with a special drug -coated 
balloon in the third blocked heart artery. The procedure successfully restored blood flow across all three 
arteries. The patient remained stable post-procedure, demonstrated rapid clinical improvement, and was discharged within 24 hours in a stable condition.
