Complex knee replacement surgeries restore mobility and independence to Uttarakhand couple suffering 
from long-standing knee disability

Greater Noida, 22 January, 2026: Fortis Hospital Greater Noida has successfully restored mobility and 
independence to an elderly couple from Uttarakhand, who had been living with severe knee pain and

The 72-year-old husband had been wheelchair-bound for nearly four years due to severe knee pain caused by tuberculosis of the knee and an infected joint.
