World Environment Day 2026: Fortis Ludhiana Promotes Environmental Sustainability Through Tree Plantation Drive 

 Ludhiana, June 5, 2026: Marking World Environment Day, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana organized a tree plantation drive on Tajpur Road in association with Nature's Friend, a local NGO dedicated to environmental awareness and conservation, and HVM Global School, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement. 

 The initiative brought together over 100 participants, including students, community members, and partner organizations, who planted saplings and spread awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting the environment. The drive aimed to encourage greater community participation in building greener, cleaner, and healthier communities. 

 Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sunveer Singh Bhambra, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana, said, “Healthcare begins in the community, with collective efforts to create healthier and sustainable spaces. Trees are essential not only for a cleaner environment but also for our overall health and well-being. Through partnerships with community organizations and educational institutions, we hope to inspire greater awareness and encourage collective action to protect our environment for future generations.”
