Fortis Hospital Gurgaon Honors World Hospice & Palliative Care Day: Advocating Dignity in End-of-Life Care

On 14th October, 2023 Saturday Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram organised a workshop on “Pain Management without Medication” to celebrate “World Hospice & Palliative Care Day”. The event aimed at creating awareness about the need of Palliative Care and maintaining physical and mental well-being of the patients during prolonged course of treatment. The event was graced by Mr. Mahipal Singh Bhanot, Business Head Delhi NCR. Patients & caregivers learnt and enjoyed a lot by “Art & Musical Therapy”. They painted their feelings over sheets, wrote what pain means to them on balloons, created stories with piece of music & their own names. The Pain & Palliative Medicine Team Fortis Hospital, Gurugram including Dr Megha, Dr Aditya were present to promote the importance of Palliative Care.
