Fortis Hospital Gurgaon Raises Awareness During Pain Awareness Month: Advocating for Pain Management Solutions

The Pain Awareness Month- Every year September is celebrated as Pain awareness Month worldwide. “Department of Pain & Palliative Medicine”, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, organized various activities in September 2023 to create awareness among patients and care-givers under the theme “Pain Gone, Life On”. People whole-heartedly participated in all the activities.

“Quiz of the day” was conducted for 2 weeks. Questions were designed to educate, inform, create curiosity and awareness among people.  Complimentary OPD`s & Health Talks were conducted for Senior Citizens.

A Support group event was organised on 26th September for the patients, care-givers and staff members. Everyone participated in Art- Therapy. The event was concluded by prize distribution ceremony to lucky winners of Quiz and High-Tea.
