Fortis Hospital, Gurugram Hosts “Red Run to End Thalassemia” with Over 2,500 Participants and Nationwide Support

Fortis Hospital, Gurugram proudly organised the "Red Run to End Thalassemia" event, bringing together more than 2,500+ participants who walked and ran 5 kilometers to raise awareness about Thalassemia. The event received remarkable support from over 30+ Thalassemia societies across India, making it a truly collaborative effort to spread awareness and inspire action.

The walkathon was officially flagged off by Mr. Yash Rawat (Vice President & Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Gurugram), Dr. Rahul Bhargava (Principal Director & Chief, BMT, Fortis Hospital, Gurugram), and Dr. Vikas Dua (Principal Director & Head – Pediatric BMT, Fortis Hospital, Gurugram). Mr Abhishek Sharma ( Head - Administration - Fortis Hospital ,Gurugram) During the event, Dr. Rahul Bhargava and Dr. Vikas Dua spoke passionately about how Thalassemia can be cured with timely diagnosis and advanced medical treatments, emphasizing the importance of early intervention.

Adding to the energy of the day, we were honored to welcome TV actor and Thalassemia India’s brand ambassador, Mr. Jackie Shroff, as the Chief Guest. His presence inspired participants and reinforced the message of hope and commitment to ending Thalassemia.
