Fortis Manesar Launches ‘Nayi Udaan’ to Support Cancer Warriors
Fortis Hospital, Manesar, organized a heartfelt initiative titled “Nayi Udaan” to honor the courage and resilience of cancer warriors and spread awareness about emotional and mental well-being during cancer recovery. The event was launched as a dedicated support group initiative aimed at helping cancer patients and survivors rebuild confidence, positivity, and strength in their journey toward healing.
The program witnessed the participation of more than 200 cancer survivors, caregivers, and family members, creating a supportive and inspiring environment. Through interactive sessions, personal experiences, and motivational discussions, participants shared stories of hope, courage, and recovery. The initiative focused not only on medical treatment but also on emotional healing and mental wellness.
Dr. Vinay, Director – Surgical Oncology, emphasized the importance of emotional support during cancer treatment and highlighted how positivity and community care can significantly improve recovery outcomes. Dr. Jyoti Bhat, Senior Consultant – Surgical Oncology, spoke about the need for mental strength and self-belief in overcoming cancer-related challenges. Dr. Mansi and Dr. Pooja also interacted with attendees and encouraged patients to stay hopeful, socially connected, and emotionally strong throughout their healing journey.
