Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram successfully hosted an International Cultural Healthcare Fair on 19th December, celebrating global unity, diversity, and a shared commitment to healthcare excellence under the theme “One Universe. One Mission. Good Health.”

The event brought together participation from 11 countries, including India, Congo, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Oman, Sudan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan. Each country showcased its rich cultural heritage through traditional décor, cuisine, attire, and visual narratives, transforming the hospital campus into a vibrant global cultural space.

The fair witnessed the presence of over 200 participants, including clinicians, healthcare professionals, hospital leadership, patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners. A poignant highlight of the event was the playing of national anthems of all participating countries, symbolizing solidarity, mutual respect, and unity across borders in the pursuit of good health.

Beyond cultural celebration, the initiative reinforced Fortis’ commitment to inclusive, patient-centric, and globally aligned healthcare delivery. Interactive stalls encouraged cultural exchange and meaningful conversations around wellness, trust, and international collaboration in healthcare.
