Fortis Vasant Kunj marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time to unite in hope, strength, and action. Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj, organized a heartfelt Support Group Program that brought together survivors, patients, caregivers, and medical experts to share experiences and empower one another. The event, attended by over 50 participants , reflected the community’s growing commitment to awareness and early detection.

Col. Dr. Gunjan Malhotra, Chief Guest, inspired attendees with her message on proactive health and resilience. Esteemed speakers— Dr. Shubham Jain, Dr. Ankita Jain, and Dr. Nithin S.G. —shared valuable insights on the latest treatment advancements, the significance of emotional well-being, and the adoption of healthy lifestyle practices.

As part of the initiative, free Mammography Screenings were conducted in collaboration with the Rotary Club Mammography Screening Bus at multiple locations, extending the program’s impact beyond the hospital premises.
