Government of India Launches HPV Vaccination Drive from Ajmer; Dr. Ankur Bahl Emphasizes Timely Immunization in India Today Interview

The Government of India has launched the HPV vaccination drive today from Ajmer, Rajasthan, marking a significant step toward the prevention of cervical cancer in India.
In a video interview published by India Today, Dr Ankur Bahl, Principal Director & Unit Head – Medical Oncology at Fortis Hospital, Gurugram, highlighted why it is important to administer the HPV vaccine at the right age. He emphasized that early vaccination provides stronger immunity and maximum protection against HPV-related cancers, helping reduce the future burden of cervical cancer.
