On the occasion of World Hypertension Day, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Director - Internal Medicine at Fortis Greater Noida, highlighted the alarming rise of hypertension among the youth due to sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, stress, and irregular routines. He emphasised the need for regular blood pressure checks and lifestyle modifications to prevent long-term complications. Dr. Dinesh Kumar also advised reducing salt and oily food intake, maintaining a balanced diet, and undergoing essential diagnostic tests for early detection.
