Dr. Shibal Bhartiya is a Glaucoma surgeon with special interest in glaucoma diagnosis and management and ocular surface diseases. She was a Senior Clinical Research Fellow in Glaucoma services of the Dept of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Geneva, and Senior Research Associate at Dr. R P Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. She is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice, the official journal of the International Society of Glaucoma Surgery. She is the Executive Editor of the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice, the official journal of the International Society of Glaucoma Surgery. She is also the Editor in Chief of Clinical and Experimental Vision and Eye Research. She has authored eleven textbooks of ophthalmology, and has over hundred peer reviewed publications.
